About Cypress Hollow Iowa

Cypress Hollow Iowa is a ministry of Cypress Ministries of Anamosa, Iowa, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that serves as a Christ-centered spiritual retreat ministry. Cypress Hollow is a place for rest, reflection, prayer, and retreat. We support the ministries of churches, mission agencies, parachurch organizations, and mission-minded business organizations by specializing in solitude retreats, small group retreats, pastoral counseling and coaching for pastors, missionaries, ministry workers, church groups, mission-minded executives, leadership teams, church groups, couples, and families.

Our vision for ministry is based on the proclamation in Isaiah 55 that God heals and restores as we come away and seek Him. That's why we call our hidden little acreage Cypress Hollow: In place of the thornbush, the cypress will grow.
