About Cypress Hollow Iowa

Cypress Hollow Iowa is a ministry of Cypress Ministries, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that serves as a Christ-centered spiritual retreat ministry for individuals, families, and groups. Cypress Hollow is a place for rest, reflection, growth, and restoration. We support the ministries of churches, mission agencies, parachurch organizations, and mission-minded business organizations by specializing in solitude retreats, small group retreats, pastoral counseling, and business/life coaching for pastors, missionaries, ministry workers, mission-minded executives, leadership teams, church groups, couples, and families.

Our vision for ministry is based on the proclamation in Isaiah 55 that God heals and restores as we come away and seek Him. That's why we call our hidden little acreage Cypress Hollow: In place of the thornbush, the cypress will grow.
